Activities in the world PDF Print E-mail

Gsf activities are globally developed in the immense field of International Cooperation. However, as widely recognized, the cooperation initiatives range from an international collaboration to a hidden Colonialism.
As the word suggests, “cooperation” should mean working together, combining power and knowledge to develop a collective growth. Unfortunately, the separation line between Colonialism and International Cooperation can sometime be very small and the damages caused by the international cooperation can be quite severe.
The continuous exploitation of resources and the research of new markets have always been the main interests of the first world countries. The level of corruption of the governments, including the young "democracies", is seemingly an unavoidable trap.
GSF works only in the projects which follow the general principles of ecosystem respect, sustainable use of resources, self-determination of peoples and respect for local cultures.
GSF asserts that natural resources are not commodities and it aims to use its competencies as external cooperation for a sustainable and equitable management of territories and resources, in the situations where there are clear needs and demands coming from the local people.
The challenge of GSF is to be a professional structure that combines the realization of income with activities based on humane principles. Among these principles, we believe there is also the international cooperation, the "tenderness between peoples" mentioned by Ernesto "Che" Guevara which still exists.
Our activities are also strongly motivated by a continuous interest towards the knowledge, the respect and the confrontation with diverse lands and cultures.
